Goldeneye 2006 Migration Pinot Noir - Red Wine
Retail: $32.99 (12% off!)
Red Wine by Goldeneye from Sonoma County, California. Created as a sister label in 2001, Migration is the newest expression of Goldeneye's commitment to Anderson Valley Pinot Noir. With a name chosen to represent change and movement, Migration offers winemaker Zach Rasmuson greater creativity and flexibility as he blends his distinctive Anderson Valley wines. This wine is textured with an integrated oak component and features a dense palate. There is a hint of pennyroyal mint (native to our area) in both the nose and mouth. The aroma is full of red fruit-strawberry, raspberry, and Bing cherry-complemented by a floral note and a touch of oak. In the mouth, sweet spices abound-cinnamon, in particular-along with dense plum and notes of cola and vanilla, all followed by an edge of earthiness, mushrooms, and forest floor in the finish.
